THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SKI RESORTS IN ABRUZZO

Roccaraso and Val di Sangro
The Alto Sangro area, located in the Abruzzo National Park, is the largest in central Italy. Alto Sangro includes five of the most famous ski resorts in the region: Roccaraso, Pescocostanzo Rivisondoli, Pescasseroli and Barrea.

L'Alto Sangro, located about 70 km from Pescara, it is well connected to the main highways and is easily accessible from cities such as Rome, Naples and Bari. The 58 slopes have a height between 1,200 and 2,142 meters, for a total of 150 km served by 38 ski lifts.

Roccaraso it is certainly the most famous locality in the area, with its 60 km of slopes located between Aremogna And Pizzalto.

Rivisondoli, another reference center for the area, offers 35 km of slopes with peaks of 2,000 meters.
Pescasseroli, on the other hand, it has about 20 km of slopes, interesting possibilities for excursions and, for the more experienced, possibility of off-piste.

Parking areas for campers in Val di Sangro
Among the main parking areas of the area we recommend Park Hotel Il Poggio, including a shuttle service to the ski lifts and Camping del Sole, in Piana del Leone, 5 km from Roccaraso and Rivisondoli.

In Pescasseroli, about 700 meters from the town, you will find the Camping S. Andrea equipped area, equipped with a guarded area, large pitches, loading and unloading services and toilets. Castel di Sangro, less than a kilometer from the town center, also has an equipped area, Camping Oasi del Sangro, open all year round.

Parks Ski Consortium
Campo di Giove, Scanno and Passo di Godi they are part of the Ski Consortium of Parks, localities located in the western area of the Majella National Park.
Here we find the highest slopes in Abruzzo for every level of difficulty.
Among the most interesting ski areas we recommend Passo Godi and Monte Rotondo.
