The Redbull Cliff Diving World Series 2017, the most adrenaline-pumping diving championship in the world, returns to enchant Polignano a mare, the small town, pearl of Puglia, known for its high cliffs overlooking the sea. The city in the province of Bari will host champions from all over the world for the fifth time, ready to challenge each other in this exciting race to the last dive.
The Pugliese stage, foreseen Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd July starting at 3 pm, it will see the participation of the world elite of Cliff Diving: internationally renowned champions, admired by thousands of enthusiasts and onlookers expected in the city for the event. Alessandro De Rosa, the only Italian Cliff Diver competing, says: "The Polignano stage has a special meaning for me and I care very much because I am in my Italy, in my South. On the Polignano platform - De Rose continues - last year I heard with me all 70,000 spectators and it was a wonderful feeling ”.
Sport and competition at the highest levels but also lots of fun and music: on Sunday, the performance of the singer Baby-K will welcome sportsmen and fans, ready to spread joy and musical energy from the stage set up on one of the terraces of the cliff .
